Fans took to the comment section on the Playstation Blog to voice their excitement and concerns. One fan asked "Why no PS4 love?" To which Mr. Avery Responded "We focused on making the best possible experience on the PS3 platform..." Basically shooting down any thoughts of escape Dead Island heading to the PS4.
Now to the good news. A couple fans were arguing the fact that the game would be a perfect fit for the PS Vita. One fan in particular commented "Would you guys consider a Vita release for the title? Looks like it would really be at home on it.". So to our great joy and satisfaction here is what Mr. Avery of Deep Silver Games had to say to that fan. "You make a good point. We can certainly consider the Vita. It would be fun to sneak around an island full of zombies as you're riding the train to work. It will definitely make your commutes interesting. :D"
How awesome is that. Can't you already imagine being able to play a third-person survival mystery (with zombies) on the PS Vita. After the shock wears off let us know what you think in the comments below.
